I bought this monitor several months ago to go with a new PC of mine. I play video games all of the time and they are typically RPG's, MMO's, FPS and some Simulations. I originally considered going with a 27 inch monitor but I was just nervous with how close I was going to be sitting. I started to do research and it came down to this or the Alien-Ware 3d monitor and I spent weeks looking through everything before I decided to get this one. I was ready for when it was received and I had the color settings and everything ready to go.
I was not able to get this one through Amazon as they did not have any available when I was going to order it. I got it out of the box and it was a nice and sturdy feeling monitor. It was very well protected and I felt like a kid on Christmas. I got this before I received my PC and it was hard to look at this beautiful monitor and not be able to use it. Once I received my PC I set this monitor up using the included dual link DVI cable and plugged it in to my new PC. My PC Specs are:
EVGA GTX580 SC video card, i5 3.3GHz Processor, 8GB Gskill Ripjaw RAM, 1.5TB HD, Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard (those are the basics)
I went in to the monitor and set up the color settings recommended:
Brightness: 18
Contrast: 80
Trace Free: 60
RGB: Custom
* R: 98
* G: 89
* B: 90
The color is absolutely stunning and I have not had a monitor before that looked this great. For those thinking it is expensive for a 23" monitor the reason is because the refresh rate is 120Hz which enables the viewable FPS to 120 so make sure you have a video card that can handle it. 120Hz is great to use with FPS and I noticed a big difference in Battlefield Bad Company 2. It also helps with Rift which is the MMO I am currently playing and everything looks beautiful. I have not been able to test out the 3d yet as I am waiting for the 3d glasses to come down. I am hoping to test them out soon.

Let me preface by saying I do not and will not EVER use this monitor for 3D. I am not into that--it gives me headaches and causes sensory overload.
I bought this monitor to receive a more "fluid" experience navigating Windows and playing FPS's (mainly bought it for BF3 release). Let me tell you...you WILL notice a difference between 60Hz and 120Hz. The people who claim, "The human eye can't keep up with a higher refresh rate than 60Hz" are pulling your leg. Since I'm running GTX 570 SLI, I was running into my monitor capping framerates at 60 FPS. Now, when I play games like Team Fortress 2, I get 120 FPS due to this monitor running at 120Hz and man...I'm invincible!
Your reflexes and handling of the computer--whether it be on the desktop or in games--will be much more fluid and you will NEVER go back to 60Hz again.
I switched from a brand new 34" Viewsonic 60Hz LED, and I thought I'd miss the colors and vivid images; however, this monitor outperforms it in every way. The colors are brighter, images more crisp. I don't even think of going from LED to LCD as a drawback now that I've spent some time with this baby.
Note: I know quality control seems to be an issue with this product, but my monitor came with no stuck pixels, random lines, or flashes/glitches. If yours does, simply use Amazon's excellent customer service and get a replacement--don't "deal with it" like some of the other reviewers have when you don't have to suffer!

This has to be one of the best monitors I've seen. Running games at 120Hz is such a huge difference than traditional 60Hz. Screen is very bright, I had to adjust the settings and also turn on the dynamic contrast ratio in the OSD. There's a little bit of manual configuration you have to do but its not hard to figure out.
Hope the 3D kit price comes down some more so I can check out that feature of this monitor!
If you're looking for a new monitor, this is one you should strongly consider
