This is the best metal cleaner I have found. It cleans brass, silver, silver plate, copper, even marcasite jewelry. For jewelry I just slather the cream on the jewelry and rub it in, then rub it off with a soft dry cloth, A dry toothbrush will completely clean the tarnish out of the grooves. Then rinse under clear water. For silver plate, and silver serving dishes, this does not take as much rubbing as other cleaners. After wiping the tarnish off with a clean soft cloth you then wash with soap and water to clean off the MAAS to make food safe.
